Having trouble getting rid of old electronics? Relax and take a deep breath.
You can trade in your old computers, monitors, digital cameras, MP3 players, game systems, etc. for a Cosco gift card.
The site gives an estimated value for the item and they pay for shipping it to them.
I plugged in a variety of items and while the values weren't great, I've seen worse.
And hey, you actually get a gift card that's useful. By the way, even if your item has no value, they will recycle it for FREE.

Getting rid of those hard-to-recycle electronics just got easier. On June 1st, Best Buy launched a program allowing customers to bring in electronics for free recycling, including televisions, computers and cameras. This expansion to their current recycling program is being tested in select stores in the Baltimore, San Francisco and Minnesota areas. If the test proves successful, Best Buy will expand the program nationally.

Oh Boy, do I have a garage full to offer! DH is a pack rat, "Look what I got for $1.00 at the thrift store, I might be able to..." Well it sits in my family room, for a month or more, then I finally get tired of looking at it and send to the "Someday corner" of the garage. I'm running out of corners, LOL. Hope they get the test done quickly and bring the program to NC. Thanks for sharing, Marilyn
