Rather than taossing the corks, re-purpose them into trivets, bulletin boards, or other crafts; chop them up and compost them! Yep, compost them!
Use them for mulch or ship them off to Missouri-based green-building-materials company Yemm & Hart, pioneering recyclers of wine corks into floor tiles.Need I say it, but don't forget to recycle those wine bottles.
